Aluminum pulleys can fail at the splines, see above photo. Seal: This is the updated double lip seal used 1995 - 2003. Spacer: This is what the seal "rides" against and is usually worn. Quad Ring: Installs behind Spacer, keeps transmission oil from leaking out shaft splines.
Lockplate, Lock Screws & Nut: Hardware that holds Pulley to Transmission Shaft. Increase MPH in Each Gear, 7%, 883's ('91-'03). Reduce Vibration: Cruise at a lower engine RPM.
